Tall and beautiful Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke-Linus has been on the low key recently, but this has not stopped her from getting awards and making her mark in the movie industry.

She recently received an award at the Montage Africa Women of Excellence Awards (MAWEA) for Excellence in Drama and Entertainment. The star actress, as we learnt, is happy for getting the award.

Ghanaian footballer Michael Essien secretly weds his publicist

There have been speculations for months now that Ghanaian footballer and Chelsea star Michael Essien is married to his publicist, Akosua Puni, a report they both never denied or confirmed. The report was regarded as mere speculation until last week Friday when Akosua introduced herself as Mrs Akosua Puni Essien at a cocktail charity event – Game Of Hope – organized by Michael Essien.

Akosua was in charge of the event and everyone who worked with her referred to her as Mrs Essien. The Ghanaian showbiz personality and socialite is also the head of the Michael Essien Foundation.

Michael and Akosua had a child together shortly after his relationship with Nadia Buari ended a few years back, though the football star has never acknowledged being married and does not wear a ring. He has three kids from two different women.

Producer/singer OJB Jezreel needs N15m for kidney transplant

 

Music producer and artist Babatunde Jezreel Okungbowa popularly known as OJB Jezreel  has kidney failure and needs about N15million for a kidney transplant in India. A donor has been found, he just needs the money for the procedure.

He’s been battling with this issue for a while but only now reaching out to well meaning Nigerians with good hearts oooh to help him raise the money needed for the treatment.
