The Presidency/ National Sports Commission, under the auspices of NASCOM (Nigeria Academicals Sports Committee) has appointed Ice Prince as an ambassador.
The flagship brand for this campaign is called Rhythm N’ Play. The campaign will be launched in Abuja and London by the president, Goodluck Jonathan himself in April. And he will personally decorate Ice Prince.
The talented rapper has had a string of success in his career and he was recently alleged to have snubbed a multi million Naira offer from Glo, when he asked for a one million Dollar signing deal or nothing. The star has however come out to flatly deny that allegation.
Ice Prince has a huge following among the young, hip and urban crowd in Nigeria and other African countries. He has won a lot of awards and competitions including the 2009 Hennesy Artistry competition, 2011 City People Award for Song of the Year (Oleku) among others. He has also been nominated for the BET Awards (Best International Act, Nigeria).
